SCIensibilités - proposals for sensitive and socially responsible science education
SCIensibilités aims to strengthen scientific literacy in the life sciences by developing innovative teaching resources for pupils in Cycle 3 and Secondary II. Following on from the Tous-tes LabSCItoyen-ne-s project (resources freely available on the Genetics otherwise and Learning with elegansIt uses active approaches (scenarios, role-playing, experiments) enriched by emotions, art and interdisciplinarity. Supported by a network of more than 50 schools and several training institutions, the project has two main aims: (1) to pool and disseminate existing resources on a national scale, taking into account linguistic and cantonal contexts; (2) to co-construct new tools addressing human and ecosystem vulnerability through sensitive approaches. In this way, it proposes concrete, inclusive measures that are rooted in current issues.
